Juddy knows when his body is right, he will be on the pitch by round 3 at the latest!!!
His groin is healing quickly, better than expected. He didn't have a dodgy surgery, Carlton's management made sure that he saw one of the best surgeons in the land, I mean....if you had invested over $800k a year in a player, wouldn't you want to make sure that it was properly looked after / treated?
All the sour grapes and jealousy from everybody making speculation that Judd will crumble is just something to laugh at.....furiously. Seriously get over the fact that he chose us and not your team! You can't reverse this now!
He had the surgery done straight after he announced he was leaving West Coast so Carlton had no say in it.
I don't think there is much to really read into this, i mean i think Judd is being honest when he says "its coming along a little slower than expected but unlikely i'll miss rd.1."
As i've said, if he's not in full training within the next couple of weeks i would consider him an outside chance to play Rd.1 against Richmond.
