When you consider he's better known for his explosive pace than endurance, and how much muscle he's carrying, that is quite remarkable. We truly do have a freak on our hands.

OK, am I the only one struggling to believe Bear ran a time trial faster than Judd? I think he did a Percy and caught a tram.

No, you are not the only one! I think Adrian Gleeson would be having a little chuckle about where that one came from!
It seems people have short memories as we went through exactly the same stuff last year when Judd won the time-trial. At that time I think it was fairly well established that Callum Chambers holds the record with a 10:15 run in the final pre-season session of 2004.

He was blitzed the time trial last year though, didn't he? IMHO the best indicator for him would be if he's back or close to running 5 second 40m sprints like he was in 2005/2006 at the WCE.

Last year's time was the first thing I thought of when I heard Judd had finished first in the time trial.
