No , not at all . The most highly decorated player doesn't neccessarily have to be the captain . Simmo has shown he is capable as well as willing and Stevo would be as deserving IMO .

This is not a troll but I truely believe Judd should not become the captain of the Blues. Why?

1. He hasn't played one game yet.
2. He's been there for 4-5 months
3. He has yet to really bond with the players
4. If he becomes captain its basically saying no one else in the squad is good enough

Yes he may be the best player at Carlton and has a very impressive record but hey not all clubs have their best player as captain? The captancy is more about leadership than being BOG every week IMO.
