He has de-selected Melbourne and Essendon - down to Pies and Blues. Well, it's down to the Pies really... as why would he choose Carlton? And not because of the "success" thing as I don't reckon he cares about that either way (my theory is that he has some sort of personality disorder where he can't really form emotional bonds / ties / attachments... look at his reaction after winning the GF, and how easliy he was able to just walk in and say... "I always knew I'd be going, so, umm, yeah, I'm going. See ya".... just a theory ;)). For him it's about comfort as he goes about doing what he does and that's play footy. He gets the comfort of the Lexus Centre over Carlton's makeshift facilities, and he gets the MCG over Telstra... That's what it'll come down to, and the pies will win hands down.

Makes other trades, hopefully, easier to achieve during the week...

OK, so he chose Carlton... who says I have to be right all the time??? :p :o

News tonight is saying he will go for Kennedy, and two later picks. however even if they get pick three eagles will go morton (richmond) or crotchin.

That leaves us with more chance of masten or palmer. Hopefully we get one of the two.

I would have thought Kennedy is big drawcard for the Eagles. You can see how important Hansen is to them. Kennedy will likely be better than Hansen.

I'm surprised no one has thought what a fit Judd will mean for Carlton. If Stephens can come back, and Murphy and Gibbs coming on, and with Scotland is pretty steady their midfield starts to look completely different. They have speed with Walker and a few others. This could turn Fev into a 100 goal a year forward if he can support from Waite and another tall.

Ratten would be licking his lips.

Fev to Saints for their pick # 9 which would go to eagles?

Also supposedly judd to caaarton for picks 3, 20 and josh kennedy who the eagles can on trade for a pick. I thin eagles want as many first rounders for judd as possible. I would

The blues have said that Fev won't be traded. Why would they considering their midfield is about to improve considerably.

Kennedy can be on-traded if he agrees to join another club, but why would he want to unless that other club is Fremantle. He's a WA boy so he'll probably either stay at carlton or be at the eagles next year.

Kennedy hasn't set the world on fire at this stage though. He was pick 4 two years ago, I certainly wouldn't trade our pick 7 for him now. Bower has shown more at AFL level.

Agree with you regarding their midfield. If they can get Judd for picks and Kennedy, and have a good run with injuries next year they should scrape into the 8.
