Trade ended up being close to my scenarios. I would have rather have kept pick 12 even if it meant trading our second and a future 2027 second with the 2025 Brisbane third rounder Melbourne owns coming back in a compromised draft honestly. (my last suggestion)
I copped a ton of criticism for saying our second rounder wouldn't get it done so Im sure there will be apologies coming.

I think the clubs have a pretty good history of getting fair trades done without the halabaluh. It's a good deal for Freo.

Pick 12 to Essendon for 20 and 26 and 26 + 33 for McVee and 41 feels about right. Freo probably dont care about going from 33 to 41 since it will go to Toby Whan anyway
