Is McVee a fairly quick, defensively sound player with neat skills (that’s my impression)? Then Blues definitely not interested. Unless he’s also very injury prone and unfit.

Isn't the reason he is looking elsewhere because he wants more midfield time? With AMW coming back from an ACL it may free up some time to move into the midfield for him.
He has had some good moments but hasn't really set the world on fire this year especially. I know he had a delayed start but has been just ok this year.

Any reason? By all reports McVee wants to head to WA. That in combination with Windhager wanting to go to Melbourne and Ryan to the saints, a three club trade could be on the books.
Alot of water under the bridge.
Where are these reports?
Last report I saw was expected to stay but not announced until after new coach.

I'd love to have McVee, I think he fits into our backline perfectly, he's the exact player we need. But I think he stays with Melbourne.

Alot of moving parts at the moment.
Plus, I think that West Coast will be pretty aggressive list wise and AFL might have an assistance package for them.
Suns, and Swans will trade their first-round picks for points or players, and Free agency compensation will see the draft order change dramatically.
The reports were he doesn't want to play back and thats the reason he was wanting to move clubs. He was looking at other VIC clubs as his partner is in Victoria.
Looked happy enough at Sandringham coles the other day too.

Guessing we will know in the next 2-3 days if he is staying at Melbourne, once he has a chat with King.

There's been nothing to suggest he'll go to another Vic club.
Most of the word is his re-signing will be announced after the new coach, so now with King announced we will see if it's accurate.
