Yes, but they were all in the 90s or early 00s. They don't pick up big names these days. The best they've done in the last couple of years is Blake Caracella.wazzabp said:Hah???![]()
You got Buckley, Rocca and Clement from other clubs. They are all big names.

You don't need to attract the biggest names to be a successful team. Judd was not a big name when he was drafted; in fact he was considered injury prone ! The trick is to trade carefully and do your homework on the draft; then wait and develop the talent that you find there. Young Thomas looks like a top player for example. I also think that Collingwood could be a little more judicious with their use of the father/son rule. I think that you have got too many Clokes and Shaws that are only average players when you could have got better players without using the father/son rule.Drizt said:Both Buckley and Rocca always wanted to come to collingwood .... if it hadn't have been for the draft rules they would have been there from day one.
Clement and Licura were not big names when they came to collingwood.. they are now.
I stand by my comment, we dont seem pull any big names (established players with 3-4yrs+ at a high level)

Ten said he was out of contract at the end of next year, and also think he could be the games first million dollar player.Polly said:I wouldn't discount Judd wanting to go back East. Maybe an Eagles fan can shed some light on his current contract status!

A captain who was very reluctant to take up the position. And please no comments about Benny being the spiritual leader of the club, this isn't Oprah.Milkman said:Somehow I don't think our captain is going anywhere.
And his contract runs out at the end of next year.

duncan said:If you are suggesting that he was reluctant because he doesn`t want to be at the club - just say it. I mean if you are going to make a fool of yourself - go for it - don`t hold back. It is bay 13 after all.
