WRONG WRONG WRONG.
He has red and blue in his blood, wears the #3 as he loved Gary Lyon, and keeps a keen eye on how the dees are going.
The midfield will be so dominant. Judd, Mclean, Moloney, Jones, Bate, Bartram, all very young, then add Johnstone, Davey, Mcdonald.
Wont put Bruce and Green in there as I would trade them and 1st rounder for him.
Whatever :p

It dosen't matter really cause he won't leave Eagles while there winning premierships :D :thumbsu:

I'm salivating at the thought of him going to the Dons. Imagine in a couple of years time Judd, Houli, Jetta, Monfries and Gumbleton in the same side. :thumbsu:

Having said that I think he will go to Melbourne.
nah, can't imagine that at all. besides, why would he want to end up looking like the other clowns in make up and costumes

That would just be unbelieveable!
but perhaps judd wouldn't stand out as much as he does now, once he plays alongside players of the quality you've mentioned:confused:

I think he will go to Richmond.

If they get the Wooden spoon it might go...

Deledio + pick 1 + pick 17

for Judd

I cannot see richmond giving up deledio. I can see our first two picks and something else. And if Judd doesnt re sign he would go into the pre season so we would have the prime spot there.

But personally i dont think you can even predict which Melbourne based club he would go to until after the season cos i imagine the futher down the ladder your side is the better position you would be to get him.

And Judd defeniatley went for Melbourne

I think you'll find a name or 2 from that little list would have to depart as part of the trade.

Um.. show me in my post where I said that I thought these players were as good as Judd?

What I meant, and I think you know that, you're either being facetious or just very stupid, was that I would love to see Judd play alongside these guys.

FWIW, I heard from a business associate of his family that he is leaving. Never had any intention of staying more than a few years, and always wanted to play for a big club in Melbourne -captain them to a flag etc.
Take it or leave it, but my money is firmly on him coming home in 2008.

Can't see him going to the Roos with the perceived lack of stability at the club - poor membership etc.

Would have said the same about the Blues 8 weeks ago but abviously things have changed could be a chance. Especially if we win less than 4 games and get a PP. WCE would be after a first rounder and probably another key player - ?Kennedy (nooooo) or Bower (nooooo) seeking repatriation.

Hawks and ourselves may find some salary cap probs with our younger lists coming throught, but retirements to Kouta and ?Crawf/Dixon may ease this.

One thing is for sure, should he go he will nominate a club, and the deal will get done. Can't see him slipping to the PSD (only PA would allow that to happen :D )

Will be a very intersting end to the year - what if they win a flag. Will the lure of matching the Lions 3peat be too much to resist. Has the decision already been made.............:thumbsu:

let's break it down. assuming he will leave west coast (something which is still pure speculation at the mo) he'll want to come to a club about to be successful (coll? ess? carl?), rather than one thats coming down off success (eg. bris).
he'll want to come home to melbourne, so knock off the other five interstate teams and geelong already, but probably won't want to go to a team with low support/facilities (eliminate roos, maybe blues, maybe rich, maybe hawks). plenty of clubs with too many stars already to fit into cap (coll, ess, st K)
by my own eliminations, this leaves him only the demons and the dogs to choose from. that sounds about right to me. that's, of course, assuming he will leave the eagles.

first i want the BLues to lock up Murphy long term, once they have done that they can go for Judd if they still have cap room. Also in two years the Crows will offfer GIbbs everything they have to ome back to Adelaide and the BLues will need to match that also. Maybe Carlton should not even think about Judd

yeah i agree nutcase, i don't think we should bother either. let's not forget the disaster that was kouta's $1.1 million paycheck or whatever a few years ago. big contracts are probably nightmares for a club still reeling from the past cap troubles, so i think we ought to leave judd alone. besides, our recent draft picks (murphy, gibbs et al) are very promising.

If he leaves he wont leave for money, how much does he need? he would leave to come home to melbourne, and he can hand pick a club if another melbourne club finishes last like acker did. he cant be traded to a club he does not want to go to.

eg. he nominates to go to melbourne when richmond come last. west coast wont let him go for nothing so therefore they would have to take what they can get. a couple of players to make room in the cap.

Out of interest, who out of the following do you think would be favourite to get the prized signature IF Judd was to leave W.C.E. Being a Carlton supporter although clearly he is the best player in the competition and i would love to have him, i think that W.C.E may be asking for too much for him (naturally) and his pay packet (800,000 --> 1,000,000p.a). There also might be a cause for concern when contracts come up for renewal. We have the second youngest list in the competition so will the signing of Judd enhance or subsequently damage our chances of keeping this young group together???

For mine i didnt think that Judd would leave, but now with this new issue with cousins, embley, chick i dont think that he will be there.

Dont vote for your club unless you genuinely think that there is a chance.

Cheers

why would judd go from the best club in the league to the worst?
