Yep. Mackie put a hand across but Judd ran straight through it.
Breaking a Mackie tackle in no way whatsoever gives any credence to your argument. Not saying I disagree with you but come on it's Andrew Mackie.

He brushed aside a Mackie tackle?!?!
I'd actually be more interested in who a Carlton supporter would prefer.
Judd or Diesel Williams?

Judd's left foot snap on the weekend was incredible - the reason he is one of the best in the AFL is that he can do things that 95% of players cannot.

Seriously could not believe the hype surrounding this goal. A pretty good snap from the left in close proximity to goal, definately not beyond 95% of AFL players.
Commentators were acting as if they'd just witnessed the single greatest moment in AFL history.
Saw on the AFL website it had actually been nominated for Goal of the Year![]()
What does money have to do with what they produce on the field?Bingo, there is no way I would want Hawthorn paying 1.3 million a season over 5 years, for a bloke who isn't even the best mid in the comp.
If Judd was on a reasonable salary then Judd.

This is hilarious...I'd pick Judd, but this is hilarious.
Judd's inside work is great to watch from a purist's point of view.He didn't burn off anyone, his opponent was metres behind, closed the gap, but just couldn't get to him in time. It was a goal roughly 70% of midfielders could have kicked, and was only notable because he was supposedly running around injured at the time.
Otherwise a reasonable post. Though I imagine most teams would prefer to keep Judd inside and get one of their other mids playing more outside. Judd's a better player doing the inside stuff at Carlton than he was doing the flashier stuff at WC, though definitely not as good to watch.

Chappy is an absolute star and my second favourite player outside of carlton (Hodge being no.1), but this thread is ludicrous and many of the posts reek of tall poppy syndrome
Whether you like it or not, you're watching an all-time great and future hall of famer
I'll be telling my kids about this bloke named Juddy that ran around in the navy blue
I don't remember any Blues supporters proclaiming this type of stuff before he came to Carlton.
Judd >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Chapman
Proof:

Gee Vs. Carl round 9:
Chapman: 2 goals 0 behinds 1 goal assist 24 disposals, I50: 6
Judd: 1 goal 1 behind 1 goal assist 22 disposals, I50: 0

I really like chapman.
if we palyed carlton this week and geelong the next, and I could choose a player to be missing it would be chapman - by a long way
