Judd's left foot snap on the weekend was incredible - the reason he is one of the best in the AFL is that he can do things that 95% of players cannot.

Seriously could not believe the hype surrounding this goal. A pretty good snap from the left in close proximity to goal, definately not beyond 95% of AFL players.

Commentators were acting as if they'd just witnessed the single greatest moment in AFL history.

Judd at WC was the best player I have seen.

Even though he has dropped a yard in pace and agility (and I don't think is disposal is as damaging as it used to be), I would still pick Judd. His impact at stoppages is amazing.

Chapman also is a gun and always steps up when Geelong need him which cannot be understated... but Judd.

He didn't burn off anyone, his opponent was metres behind, closed the gap, but just couldn't get to him in time. It was a goal roughly 70% of midfielders could have kicked, and was only notable because he was supposedly running around injured at the time.

Otherwise a reasonable post. Though I imagine most teams would prefer to keep Judd inside and get one of their other mids playing more outside. Judd's a better player doing the inside stuff at Carlton than he was doing the flashier stuff at WC, though definitely not as good to watch.

Judd's inside work is great to watch from a purist's point of view.

That's what makes Selwood such a good player.

I'll go he if 70% of the game's mids can read the play this well.

That's the sort of goal you see kicked by a Didak, Steve Johnson, Gary Ablett or Yarran, not an inside midfielder.

Yet Judd's set shots suck.

Fair dinkum there's some blind hate on BF!! How people can talk down Judd as firstly being overrated and secondly that his goal the other night was nothing special (I think one fool even said that most players could have kicked it) is beyond me. Next time you speak to an AFL player (ex or current) of any club...doesn't matter which club...ask them what they think of Judd as a player. Almost all if not all of them will tell you he is one of the best and by the time he finishes (given that he is only 27), he will be one of the greatest!! This is AFL players talking...not some of the imbeciles on BF who hate for the sake of hating.

The Carlton version for mine is better than the WC version. Chappy is a fantastic player and would probably be flattered even being compared to him.

Guessing, but Judd will lead the Clearances by a long way, Chappy the hardball gets and very close on the contested possessions.
