So now you're saying its ok to give a guy votes in a game where his team loses if that performance is special enough as long as its not the 3 votes.
As for McPhees job on Judd, he still got 30 touches to be the Blues leading possession winner in fact he was equal leader for the match alongside Barlow. Gee what I would give to have a tagger who can keep Judd to 30 touches every time we play him.
Firstly...the Collingwood game wasn't just a loss ..it was a THRASHING by a similarly placed team on the ladder, tell me what "impact" he had in REAL terms, not figures ...should he get BOG for turning a 75 point loss in to a 55 point loss?
Secondly ..30+ possession games are a dime a dozen these days...whereas players don't kick half a dozen + goals every week , it's real achievement in modern footy and it will usually earn a vote even in small to medium losses, which is the range both our losses to St.Kilda fell into, though I don't know why I'm even bothering to argue this point, as I said it's a completely simplistic and fascile comparison that you made...
Finally to the Freo game...again you're blinded by stats , because apart from you and the umpires it seems, the entire football world agrees his effectiveness and influence on the game was severly curtailed by the efforts of McPhee..his direct opponent.... stop trying to defend the indefensible and just admit it RT...they were 5 votes from two games that just can't be justified at all.
