Judd's comments re Crouch Bros

Both Crouch’s could certainly play forward for a rotation, particularly Brad. They are both natural ball finders so even in the HF graveyard they could accumulate.
This is the key to what Judd said. Brad could rotate through to HB, freeing up Smith/Milera to play more midfield time and get some more speed and evasiveness into to centre bounce. Likewise, Matt could easily go forward as he finds the pill at will and is a decent overhead mark. This would provide us with more options to have Gooch or Jones running through the middle. Gooch running forward will always hit a target.

We have the problem that Sloane, Brad and Matt all play similar type roles. It leads to us struggling to fit Smith and Milera into the midfield as they play the HB and wing roles. But shifting Brad to HB and Sloane/Matt to HF frees up Smith and Milera to roll through the middle as well as having players like Gooch who have burst speed and hit a target. Pairing Gooch/Smith/Milera/Jones with FOG/CEY or Greenwood as the big centre is a much better mix with Brad/Matt/Sloane rolling through.

To make this happen you would need to drop Mackay and Knight out of last night with Brad taking Mackay's role and CEY coming into the centre. You would drip Knight for Gooch with Matt or Sloane rolling forward.

Our coaches select players who find the pill easily in the centre and put our less accumulating players to rot at HF. Swapping that makes sense on so many levels.
