I'm sure when he signed on to the AFL system he had every mental health resource possible and a whole footy club behind him trying to steer him in the right direction plus dozens of support staff that were part of the indigenous community warning him about the perils of being a potentially talented player with lots of spare time and cash.....yet he made the adult decision to ignore them and make a **** of himself. Where do you draw the line for virtue signalling apologies????

every club has aboriginal staff for cultural education these days, also there are afl aboriginal programs too. Lots of outreach for the players ect ect, look @ the indigenous all-stars for example they did lots of community/cultural work with the players not just a game

Almost half of the entire Indigenous population of Australia is under 20. 52.9% of First Nations males are below the age of 25.

Approx a third of first nations people are under 15. This is a very precious group that needs appropriate influence or there will be a massive problem in 20 years.

Not sure about all the players you listed there but my understanding is that Dunkley leaving had little to do with Beveridge. Was due to a small cohort of players who lacked professionalism, some of who aren’t at the dogs anymore. Sure you can pin that partly on Bevvo.
