There's a delicate balance though. You want to motivate them to move you on and accept a discounted trade price but you don't want to be tanking your contract value while you're at it.

From his first season though he has always found himself in the social pages of the media. Had his little relationship with Fevola’s daughter. It was not uncommon to see him with a drink in hand somewhere.

I’d honestly just cut him loose. If he is choosing when to come back and it being on his terms then it’s really all about him. There’s no way he will be fit enough in 2025 to actually have a meaningful impact, a completely waste of a year. Given his attitude he is making himself worth a late second rounder.

A lot of the whole furore is about click bait.

And regarding the coach, Bevo, who is obviously on the spectrum., has to be considered a failure despite all the talent in the team. Hardwick would have snagged 2-3 premierships with the teams they fielded.

Not turning up is one thing, that is bad.

But not turning up and then going out to a pub AND take photos AND post those photos publicly is a massive and deliberate middle finger to the entire organization.

Either the club has treated him like shit or he is a little shit. At least one of those things has to be true.

Why do these issues affect some more than others. It seems the Lower socio- economic background players struggle with professionalism more than others.
