He's back with his old girlfriend from Vic who dumped him and moved to the GC 18 months ago. Things appear to be stable now that he's in a relationship and doesn't feel the need to go and have a blowout with his 'gangster' friends twice a week.

Time will tell if that holds up long term even if it does mean short term success.

I was never a fan of him as a player.

For mine he sits in that grey area of not being enough to a Key Forward, and not being agile, fast and skillful enough to be a Small/Medium Forward.

And his kicking is not good.

The hype nowhere matched the reality of his capabilities.

I'm filthy on how 2025 went down, the position he put the Bulldogs in wand what we got as a trade. But its i think its undeniable he is a super talent. Theres a real chance he kicks 40 goals this year.

Its actually very similar to the Jesse Hogan exit from Freo. Cost a lot, provided nothing, traded for a bag of chips...
Now he's almost the premier big key forward in the comp. It hurts.

He had the 4th most shots on goal in the league in 2024 as a 22 year old. Top 10 for contested marks and marks inside 50 as well.
