Heard JUH’s been sober since Tuesday.

Had a sort of "Road to Damascus" flash on the M2. Crashed his van into some guy's hedge cause he was so ****ing wrecked. And then this voice in his head, sounded like Rex Hunt, used to do the football on 3AW, said "pack it in son, mug's game".
He's given up everything - from the pcp to the lattes

It seems to be becoming a pattern of the game lately, losing talented forwards well before their prime. I hope he is OK and recovers quickly and stays with the Bulldogs. From what I know he's never been violent or involved in criminal activity, so I wish the kid all the best.

Remember it well. It was clear even being 150m away from him. there were instances where he was literally 2-3 feet away, could have gotten the ball, impacted the contest but was literally, standing and watching.

It seemed to me that he was watching a seagull, but not just an ordinary seagull, this was the Prince of Seagulls.

It dazzled JUH with blasts of pure white every time his wings caught the sun.

Pretty impressive considering it was a night game.

I recently re-watchd that game when it was on Fox Footy a month or too back and that was seriously one of the oddest displays by a talented player such as JUH. I mean I get players have a down day or just get beaten by their opponent but that beyond pitiful effort was something else that was bordering on deliberately not trying or simply not giving a stuff. There just had to be something massive going on b/c that was just abnormal and certainly injury wasnt an excuse.
The most lacklustre individual effort I have ever witnessed from a AFL player - in front of 97000 people. I want him gone from our club.

Supposedly he went to Bali during the week break between the last round and the final and didn't make it back to training on the Monday morning, didn't inform the club of this. Hence why he started on the bench.

Perhaps I'm just a fat unfit campaigner, but 148 average bpm seems rather low for a hot box workout?
Yeah, it's abt 70-75% max heart rate for his age, so Zone 2 or 3 on average. Zone 4 is usually defined Hard. But without context of warm up and warm down periods it's hard to know what he peaked at.

That's incredible imo to let the lads go on a holiday before a final. Psychologically it would take the edge off, and then you'd be battling to get the edge back for the game.

Ridiculous player management by the Dogs if true. Most players would lose their focus, unless they're Nick Daicos or Scott Pendlebury, and most youngsters need to be disciplined as they don't have the self discipline just yet. Also generally seems ridiculous to head overseas whilst in season.
