Why would he be dealing Uncle Doug's for?
No idea....I was told this by someone who is very well known in football circles. Like all things posted in the rumour thread it might not be true or it might be true, but I see no reason for this guy to make shit up. He also said that Bont walked in on Bailey Smith doing lines in the toilet and he pretty much demanded that he was moved on. This guy was no stranger to controversies in his life and was joking about how he wished there was the mental health card in his days lol.

75% of players would get moved on in this case.

Just checked, they don't follow each other on insta. Must be true 😜

I always thought no AFL player would be stupid enough to get caught up in that side of things.

About 10 years ago I was at a party and a mutual friend was telling me he buys his drugs off Sam Fisher. Thought it was rubbish and didn’t think too much of it.

Later that year someone else said the same thing. Went into a bit more detail, saying Sam Fisher was basically getting stuff from bikies and dealing it to AFL players from pretty much all VIC clubs. Was meant to be a “safer” way for players to get it. No way an AFL player is gonna throw you under the bus cos it’ll screw him too.

I guess some blokes are just really dumb. I’m sure some mayo was put on the Fisher stuff but obviously he was a part of that world.

That makes sense of some of the talk when he got caught and went to trial. Was implied that given the people involved, he wouldn't be talking as they were quite heavy. I was around when Dale Lewis quoted 75% of players were getting on it ~25 years ago. There was uproar, but he was right it seems.

Strong rumours I'm hearing are that he has been caught dealing drugs pre Xmas and is very unlikely going to play with the Dogs ever again.
Might be why there’s rumours of him headed to the Lions.

I wonder if he’ll sit out a portion of the year.

Jamarra and Clayton Oliver are good friends and did cocaine at the browlow medal together.

Melbourne are very upset that Clayton Oliver is doing cocaine with Jamarra.i suspect the Dogs are not particularly thrilled either.
Their dealer on the other hand.......

Absolutely, both clubs would be upset with that behaviour. I mean, the lack of camaraderie shown to not do it with a teammate.

Yeah I dunno, the less Melbourne players hanging out with Stevie May the better I reckon.

Spoke to a close friend of his coach yesterday. Wrong crowd type situation from the sounds of it.

Dogs refused to offer more than 2 years hoping he'd be offered better and request to go while he's still got value. Other clubs followed the Dogs lead and didn't want to offer him anything long term so they agreed to sign him for the 2 hoping he'd come good.

Said he's as good as gone at the end of the year after the pre season he's had. Didn't allude to where that could be.

Hopefully for his sake he can sort his life out before he finds himself out of the AFL. Exceptional talent, don't want it to go to waste.

Fantastic news.
Very kind of the Dogs to keep him on the list given his finals no show and drug trafficking.
