I don't think it was rigged. The Dogs did get a massive ride, but don't forget that they were also the fairytale story (and sometimes, teams just get a bum steer). It is plausible that the fairytale aspect did have a subconscious effect.

Was thinking the same thing - yes he may have ****ed up a few times but he's still a young fella and a pile up like this can't be good for his mental health

I know a tiny bit about Aboriginal communities and again I will repeat the support that many football clubs provide Aboriginal players is a tokenistic box ticking exercise. There is very little authentic connection between club and country.

Dogs need to stand in front of the kid now. Not beside him, nor behind him but they need to walk in front of him. Very rarely do you see this happen. Mitchell at Hawks stood in front of his players.

I'm not sure exactly what you mean. Do you mean the Dogs need to play him to stop any speculation? In any event, I haven't seen anything negative put out by the Dogs in the months that this has gone on. That includes the players who are reportedly at odds with him. They have come out and supported him.

I'm not sure what's going on internally, but these things are often striking a balance between what is actually going on, respecting the privacy of the players involved and trying not to fan the flames, especially leading into their opening round.

I expect the Dogs have and are offering JUH all the support they can (and that he is willing to accept).

Nothing from the club or players has been negative publicly. All they've done is deflect and try to negate media speculation.

It could be an individual. If Lobb and JUH had a widely known bust up, it’s not hard to see he would fall offside with coach and captain.
