Yeah that's not true. He wanted one more year than we were willing to offer with his injury history and age. The orange team offered that year so he left. The end.Jake Stringer is a gold-star dickhead who also got punted from the Bombers for being a dickhead.
He has missed the entire pre season pretty much, his life choices mean he has let himself go so he is a loooonnnngggg way off from being AFL fit. Doubt he will play this year unless he is prepared to work his ass off and based on what is being speculated that does not seem likely.Yep, they need to get him out on the park and playing well if they expect to get anywhere near peak value.
But that will have to mean JUH working real hard to fix relationships, firstly with words and then ongoing actions.
The worst thing the dogs can do is to play him when he shouldn’t be played, like the final last year

Kind of a catch-22. If they mend the relationships and he plays then no need to trade him.Yep, they need to get him out on the park and playing well if they expect to get anywhere near peak value.

He may have loved it, but he lived a very, very different lifestyle to what the average AFL player did as a child and is a very different person for it.
When you’re playing footy in either no shoes or your mums runners as a teenager but then all of a sudden have $100K in the bank and people worshipping you it’s a very sudden and swift change and a lot to deal with.
Lots of Noongars refer themselves as that, maybe even more than 'Aboriginal.' lots of government / social services incorporate it in the name, Noongar Services, Noongar Patrol, the state government use it a heap and kids always used it themselves.Koori / Koorie is not a tribal or mob name, it is a regional name for most of Victoria and Southern NSW. Just like Yolngu, Murri or Noongar. Every Aboriginal I know refers to themselves as Aboriginal in the general sense for example ‘I am a proud Aboriginal’ and their mob name in the specific sense for example ‘Adam Goodes is from Adnyamathanha and Narungga country.

Heavy drugs and hanging with scum is what im hearing from people that actually have witnessed first hand.I’m not going to go into what I know, but read the tea leaves mate…the coach, the captain and multiple other relationships are fractured and there’s one common denominator.

That does backs up the SotY post you quoted.Lots of Noongars refer themselves as that, maybe even more than 'Aboriginal.' lots of government / social services incorporate it in the name, Noongar Services, Noongar Patrol, the state government use it a heap and kids always used it themselves.
Yeah, definitely not a dickhead.Yeah that's not true. He wanted one more year than we were willing to offer with his injury history and age. The orange team offered that year so he left. The end.
Don't assume big fella.
I too have family AND very close ties with leadership as I've mentored in the bush for many years down here.
As I've mentioned a few times, this isn't the forum for this discussion.
OUR leadership is mighty fine with our take on history
Good luck , you winYou seriously private message me, bombarding me with pictures of the word Koorie to try to prove your point. You send me pictures of the Koorie Court of Victoria to try to prove that Koorie is a local name not a state name. All you did was prove my point. Then you send me ‘Then you say all tribes think aborigine is ok’
I will repeat Aborigine is a horrible word for us of the Stolen Generation. Stop inboxing telling me what an Aboriginal should call an Aboriginal. Stop inboxing me full stop
Sorry, misread, haven't disagreed with a thing the man's said in this whole thread. That does backs up the SotY post you quoted.
Would have been extremely tough for him. You can't imagine what you go through from the communities and being thrown into Private Schools.Poor lad must’ve been tough for him doing the hard yards at Scotch College
2x AFLCA as well, or was it AFLPA? In any case two of the best awardsCompared to Oliver he doesn't have the body of work behind him to command another chance even if a top draft pick. Oliver had 4 B and Fs, 3 AAs and some high Brownlow finishes and was an outrageous improver after coming into the system. By year 2 averaging 30 touches a game and then polishing his game further. JUH had a promising year last year, but that's not enough.

Times are changing. There's too much money at stake now and clubs are taking a stand. Beveridge also has a history of getting his way. It's not always about how 'talented' you are, sometimes mediocre players manage to squeak through due to different circumstances. Perfect example at my club: Harry Morrison. How he is getting a game still to me is baffling.JUH is a no.1 pick and only 22. Unless he absolutely implodes he will remain on a list whether at the dogs or elsewhere. Schache made it to 27 with no apparent ability based purely off being a no.2 pick KPF.
It doesn't matter what pick he is, that draft was a total right off .JUH is a no.1 pick and only 22. Unless he absolutely implodes he will remain on a list whether at the dogs or elsewhere. Schache made it to 27 with no apparent ability based purely off being a no.2 pick KPF.
Schache was different to JUH, in that he seemingly didn't have the work ethic required, but wasn't putting teammates and coaches offside. There's a difference between a player who doesn't look after themselves and a player who actively hurts his relationships with others.JUH is a no.1 pick and only 22. Unless he absolutely implodes he will remain on a list whether at the dogs or elsewhere. Schache made it to 27 with no apparent ability based purely off being a no.2 pick KPF.
Disagree with that. JUH clearly has the level of talent expected from the no.1 pick - his back half of the year, especially given he's splitting the forward line with Naughton and Darcy, was very very good for a fourth-year key forward. It doesn't matter what pick he is, that draft was a total right off .
I think you might be wrong there...It doesn't matter what pick he is, that draft was a total right off .
