Thanks for re-directing the conversation away from what everyone else was talking about so you could focus solely on what you wanted to say.
I've given my opinion. They should get Jammarra help and try and retain him, if they can't , it's not a huge loss, they will get draft picks in return and they play Sam Darcy at full forward.

My daughter had a kid in her class where the family owned 2 cafes and mum worked one 7 days a week, dad worked the other 7 days a week. The kid spent every morning in before school care and every afternoon in after school care. Every weekend in weekend care and every holiday in holiday care.

Had every behavioural issue you can imagine.

Was incredibly sad.
pretty commonplace amongst a lot of the lower end private schools. i was fortunate enough to have parents who'd lived frugally as young adults and built a nice little nest egg (including life insurance payouts when my dad passed away) and, and smart investments allowed my brother and i to attend private schools while maintaining some semblance of homelife, while i was privileged in that regards, we were realistically some of the poor(est) families at the school, not including people on scholarships, and it was far more apparent. there were kids who'd stay in the school library waiting for their parents until 5pm - 6pm every day, and they were miserable and lonely because of lack of family connection.

not to go all "woe is me" for rich families, but it does harm their emotional growth and development if they're unable to rely on their homelife connections.

i think that JUH's youth is frightfully miserable, and it's something that even the best therapists will struggle to help him grow from, but he needs support, not scorn. everyone does at some stage in their life.

Whatever happens this has to be devastating for Dogs fans. He's supposed to be a generational talent.

Honestly our forward line seems to operate better without him. Darcy, Naughton and Weightman is enough firepower. A lot more space and less forwards all leading to the same spot. If we can get decent trade value for him I'll be happy to see him go.

I must admit that I hate these kinds of threads where posters claim to be in the know about what's going on with a player, but then do a bunch of nudge-nudge-wink-wink "I'm not saying" bullshit.

If someone knows what's going on, just say so outright. Posters are speculating about all kinds of random crazy stuff anyway, so it's not like the real truth would be any worse than what some people already believe.

He's absolutely tanking his trade value at the moment though.

We've been properly screwed trading out young first round players in recent times.

really? mentioned the specific antics he's been up to, have they?
They don't have to. Pretty obvious what they are alluding to with the constant offfield issues comments, excluded from training etc etc, but the frequency of articles they are putting out is relentless. They certainly don't give a shit about a young kid's rehabilitation.

Why should they pamper him? Their job is to write articles that people are interested in. Did you feel sorry for the Essendon 34 when they were dragged through the mud for close on 3 years? Jamarra's a 22 year old who's been given an opportunity of a lifetime and he's throwing it away by choice. Actions have consequences.

The Bulldogs in the off season were working with port on a trade that would have sent Zak Butters to the dogs in exchange for JUH.

Obviously this did not come into fruition for a myriad of reasons. From the dogs POV massive missed opportunity

Could still happen if thats true. Would depend if Port think they can turn JUH around.

Port trading a 24 year old 2xAA midfielder, AFLCA winner (also their vice captain), for a drug-addicted forward that's averaged around 25 goals a season? Would have loved to see the melts on that.

I reckon if Butters goes, he'll have his eyes on Carlton or Collingwood.

But I guess it might just come down to who will pay the biggest $$$$
