Yep, I was taking that is they want out of his contract for next year
Can't see another club taking it on though. Reckon he just end up withering on the vine at the Dogs next year and that'll be the end of his career.

I'm fine thanks for asking. Karma will bite the scumbag on the arse sooner or later.Oh my, are you ok there?
One should never wish harm on another person, ever.
Also, players are able to have a social life, they do not need to lock themselves in their homes when they are not working.
Honestly reminds me a lot of another generational talent, Josh Schache.People keep saying exceptional talent etc. I’ve watched him fairly closely and I’ve never really seen it. Looks timid at the contest to me, not tall enough to be a marking KPF and not hard enough to get his own footy.
197 cm. Is tall enough. Doesn’t really crash packs tho
Schache never kicked 45 goals in a season.Honestly reminds me a lot of another generational talent, Josh Schache.

Are you saying that's what's going on here? That poor JUH is being hounded for having a few espresso martinis?Oh my, are you ok there?

You are a typical apologist and enabler for this type of behaviour.what a load of shit
I think people are massively overreacting to Bevridge’s comments. Seeing as he’s clearly not gonna play again this year, I reckon we’re trying to get special permission to put him on the injury list so we can pick up another player.
You clearly know bugger all about footyPeople keep saying exceptional talent etc. I’ve watched him fairly closely and I’ve never really seen it. Looks timid at the contest to me, not tall enough to be a marking KPF and not hard enough to get his own footy.

I believe the AFL changed the rules to tighten up teams putting people on an inactive list just to get a pick in the mid season draft. No, that's not what you're doing at all. If you want to put him on the inactive list then you can, there's nothing stopping that. What Bevo is talking about is the same as we did with Stengle, we wanted to sack him and wash our hands. But it's not that easy.
I don't have a particular liking for Nick Riewoldt's commentary, but I massively agree with his take this week. Interesting to see him so 'emotional' when talking about it, summed up by him swearing on TV. So many angles to this which provide insights into the AFL system and broader society, as well as lessons to learn. We have kids who live their lives by social media; clubs offering long-term mega deals to players who haven't earned it yet, with big pots of money available to young players that previously didn't exist (without the mental maturity or family infrastructure to handle it); we have powerful player managers who can significantly influence things behind the scenes to the detriment of clubs; we are in an era where people are feeling there is exceptional political correctness and the pendulum has swung too far.
Have you got a link to NR’s take anywhere? Curious to listen / read

Not exactly a world beater is he?
That’s massively underselling his unfulfilled potential.People keep saying exceptional talent etc. I’ve watched him fairly closely and I’ve never really seen it. Looks timid at the contest to me, not tall enough to be a marking KPF and not hard enough to get his own footy.

He had the 4th most shots at goal across the entire competition and 8th in contested marking as a 22 year old.
Accuracy is clearly a weakness but it’s not a stretch to say he would have the ability to generate the most scoring shots in the league at some stage.
...impersonating an AFL footballer? He was into swimming and something else...
Ermmm...I think you have erred & combined two persons of note in a single reference. 1. John McAfee - Former Brit/US computer programmer, cybersecurity expert & CEO/founder McAffey Anitvirus and 2. Brent Macaffer, Former Collingwood small forward / midfielder, played 77 games over 6 seasons and most notable achievement was keeping Nick Del Santo to 16 disposals. Not as good as Brent Macaffee
Take away what is obviously going on, every club in the league would make room for him.People keep saying exceptional talent etc. I’ve watched him fairly closely and I’ve never really seen it. I’d understand if you didn’t have time but if you watched his run of games from round 19-24 last year you would have a very different view.People keep saying exceptional talent etc. I’ve watched him fairly closely and I’ve never really seen it. Looks timid at the contest to me, not tall enough to be a marking KPF and not hard enough to get his own footy.

Why is he still on the Dogs list? Surely what he's doing is a breach of his contract, take away the $20,000 a week for doing nothing see what he's doing then.
The idiotic posts indicate he is making no effort to address his problems though. Reflects quite poorly on himself and will make it easier for the Dogs to punt him. You’d have to think he’s claiming mental health issues are making it impossible to fulfill his contract requirements. Most employers these days would try and support absenteeism due to genuine mental health issues. Not sure a few idiotic social media posts would invalidate the base claim. Certainly annoys the employer and industry at large, but without those, most would be too scared to not support unlimited time away these days.
