This goes wildly understated I think.This saga is an insult to so many people.
If it is mental health issues, then you have got the money to go and do proper rehab. So either do it; or don't call it mental health issues - that is disrespectful to a lot of people struggling out there.
Big difference between Harry McKay and JUH. McKay actively went to seek help, did it, came back and then spoke out and did it in a way that was respectful and honest, even when the football media were pathetic in their portrayal of him as a whole (lambasting the guy for playing VFL instead of AFL was atrocious behavioiur. It clearly helped him mentlaly to play infront of a smaller crowd) .
JUH hasnt sought help in any way.... and dont pretend this is a unknown element. Bulldogs have actively told us this truth already. If im the AFL/WB id reject his leave request until he puts in place a 100% outlined treatment plan. Until he does that he cant claim mental health as a reason
