Cuz, to his credit, even at the height of his problems was still at every training session, set the standard on the track, was a leader of the club and performed exceptionally on game day. Bloke went 110% at everything - meth included unfortunately. To be fair the same was said of Cousins
this. ultimately we want our players to perform, we (largely) don't care less what happens off the field.Cuz, to his credit, even at the height of his problems was still at every training session, set the standard on the track, was a leader of the club and performed exceptionally on game day. JUH can't train, can't play. What a mess.

same but at the Dons, we have his old mentor - Travis Varcoe at the club, could probably get his Hero Chris Johnson down there as well. Would actually like Scott to bring a few more Brisbane people in rather than North people, now getting Ealges people too from CEO.I would take him at the Saints on very little money. Give two years, if he can't turn it around in that time then let him go. All you lose is money, what you can gain would be anything.
What about his getaway car hire business? He won’t make money like that anywhere else.
contract. everything in the players favour apparentlyHow? If a player isn't working what legal grounds do they have for full pay?
contract. everything in the players favour apparently
If that’s true I’d love to see a player sign a 7 year contract then just go party for 7 years
good ole Uncle Paulie!
Correct. If that’s true I’d love to see a player sign a 7 year contract then just go party for 7 years
What’s this about?
We saw at happen with Jake King. He brought Toby Mitchell into the rooms at Richmond and that was really looked down upon.In his case you’re right.
However generally speaking bikies etc love to try and get involved with AFL players.
Don’t underestimate the way they are able to manipulate impressionable young men via drugs, gambling, power or whatever.
There’s a lot of silly and naive young footballers who make great targets for these scumbags.
Then once you’re in it can be very hard to rid yourself of them.
Agreed, see Tarryn, people had a sniff, but it didn't work out thanks GodAFL clubs are like problem gamblers when looking for natural talent and I’m sure someone would be lured into giving him another chance out of desperation, just like with Laurence Angwin, Harley Bennell, Ben Cousins etc.
If he doesn’t address the underlying issue I suspect it would end the same way.
It seems like they’ve settled this year on his deal, paying him in full. However given the circumstances I think next year they might be able to end the contract. That’s just from reading various articles. He is on 900k a year.At what point can a club breach a player and have the right to terminate a contract? Are the Dogs hanging out to see if JUH will come good / have some trade value to another club? Or are they unable to rip up the contract? Seems odd.
His best bet is to get out of Melbourne. I actually don’t know though if anyone would take a punt on him.AFL clubs are like problem gamblers when looking for natural talent and I’m sure someone would be lured into giving him another chance out of desperation, just like with Laurence Angwin, Harley Bennell, Ben Cousins etc.

No, we've wanted to and the AFL has told us no.At what point can a club breach a player and have the right to terminate a contract? Are the Dogs hanging out to see if JUH will come good / have some trade value to another club? Or are they unable to rip up the contract? Seems odd.
Clayton Oliver? If that’s true I’d love to see a player sign a 7 year contract then just go party for 7 years
Funnily enough, that's the history of the world, in every facet of life, business, sport, socially etc.. and at every level. When a couple of Perth based players were caught up in something similar nothing came of it. How times have changed.
