Apologies I'll rephrase it. I remember us bidding on JUH.. and at the time I thought he was going to be a far superior player to Thilthorpe

And the opposite for me, I didn't think TT was going to be nearly as good as he is now. Especially when Marra was absolutely peppering the goals last year. Crazy where we are, barely more than a year later...

I think everyone here agrees with both of you, but you can understand why the AFL is going above and beyond what you two and me and every poster on this board thinks is reasonable given their institutional relationship/responsibility to Indigenous Australia, as well as their unique relationship and bargaining with a player union, as well as the "small club/big club" nature of relationship with the AFL (we're a "subsidised team" so we hold less power to the AFL).

What I think you're missing is if it continues to go down the shit the AFL also wants to wash their hands of it and not get the blowback. While it might not look good for the AFL if Jamarra's life spirals it would look even worse for the AFL if they didn't take a lot of steps before it to try and prevent it form happening.

Well the afl should carry the responsibility then, not the western bulldogs, he’s had ample opportunity

He was due last year for that breakout season but was just injured. Tbh rankine getting rubbed out isn't a biggie.. now if that was TT I'd be shaking in my shoes because Burgess is our back up, YIKES!

Most of us wanted him sacked months ago then gave him the benefit of the doubt after his interview with Robinson only for him to continue to do this and spit in everyone's faces
