My understanding was that Bevo didn’t want to play him in the EF.

At the time yeah for sure. But you'd imagine given the events of this season that the leadership group would've addressed a few players and acknowledged they misjudged the situation.

I think if the leadership group were representing the want of the rest of the 23, then it’s probably a fair call and shouldn’t have been too disruptive. Other way around would be a disaster.

The dogs game plan and defence is mediocre and gets found out in big tough games. How many games won against top 8? Not many.
This, and Beveridge is limited as a coach. Why not accept this instead of looking for scapegoats .

Sure, playing players who skipped the country and went on a bender before a final is obviously best practice and likely to help win said final.
