I can't remember who it was, but I'm sure there was a story about Dusty hitting the town with a potential trade/draft option the Tigers were looking at but he reported back "this bloke is too loose" so they stopped pursuing him.

If he’s to get another chance, it’ll be along the lines that he has to re-contract to get his $900k base over 3 years and make up the difference with match payments. Nobody is going to pay him $900k to not turn up. And if he’s not prepared to wear the reduction he caused to his value, then he’s learned nothing and is done.
