Has some promise but turns it over way too much at this point. Can lack poise. Set shots are good though so hopefully he just feels a little rushed at present and will settle down to be a very good player.

Saw him last night playing against the 'Aints. Looked pretty good in the time I saw. Put an awesome tackle on X. Clarke, played on a silkily delivered the ball to Burnsy.

I don't find much wrong with his kicking technically. I get the feeling though, that he's under instructions to go long and as such is pushing his kicks too much for added length. He should be taught to play smarter and within himself.

Needs to strengthen aerobically so he can be more accountable and physically (so he can put those killer tackles on blokes bigger than X Clarke).

I'm quietly optimistic that he will be a very good player for us. He has the required natural ability. So long as he's got the right frame mentally and puts in the hard yards, he could be a very good midfielder in a (disclaimer to idiot opposition fans: I'm not saying he is of his ability) Dal Santo-ish type role.

I think he lacks poise and turns over the ball because he is always way to worried about where the next tackle is coming from, he needs to trust his team mates and not be scared if he gets caught. He needs to take some tips from dal santo and luke ball, they have great peripheral vision and side step players all the time whilst not taking there eyes off there target!

You see, if I were to list his attributes, his poise would be number one!

He doesn't get run down too often, ala Rickhead Cole. I think his kicking is a result of trying for too much distance.

His side stepping and calmness of mind when the ball's in his hands, is excellent. He creates space very well, even in heavy traffic.

I believe Julian Rowe will be the biggest improver next year. He has shown that he can find space very well, but he also turns the ball over on numerous occasions. But he is a brilliant kick with his non-preferred foot, which I think is very important in football these days.

Good luck Rowey!

I like the boy. He has talent. Good pace, his skills ARE ok (when he is on song and full of confidence) and looks the part on the wing, where his class shows out. Has been a little unfortunite due to the lack of game time that he has recieved. Yes, his skills do need some work on, but, if he can rectify that and build his body up, he will play a role in our future. I like him - he has one of those untangable things about him.

Can't wait to see Jules next year. One of the 'suprise' pick ups in the draft considering where he was picked up at. Has potential but only is seen by Collingwood supporters, which is a good thing. His debut against the Hawks was okay last year and needed a bit more this year to take the next step, but still got experience. Next year he will make a move, whether a wingman or half-forward.
