I can remember when white clash jumpers were likened to umpires.

That's not really relevant, what's obvious is yes the AFL have some weird obsession with unifying umpire's uniforms across the board. At AFL level perhaps it would be okay to have a few other colours (the old sky blue? red?) return. I can see it being an issue this season with the ultra bright Richmond clash tops.

It would need something to break the maroon and gold though so the white would work well.

Looks great - nice balance of the various merger factors. I also think an inverse or this design would look really good.

Just an idea for if the Crows ever wanted to move away from a hoop-themed clash. Not sure who it would really be useful against, but since when was that an important element in clash guernseys?
