You know what to do.

For starters, here's a couple of clash/preseason concepts:

Gold Coast:

GWS:

Also my minor edit to the GC logo (inverted the red & yellow so the it actually represents the sun in the sky):

I can't stand the idea of GWS with a charcoal back.

Yes, it would improve the balance of the jumper but do we really need another dark home jumper forcing more clashes? They have a unique colour in orange and they should be using it. Focus on improving the front of the jumper (I don't mind the reverse of the orange and charcoal on the front).

Only exception is a one off modification for Sydney away games (very much like the Melbourne red backed jumper this season).

All it does is force other clubs to lift their game with their clash kits. If they can't come up with an alternate design in their colours that looks good that's their own fault.

All teams should have at least 2 contrasting designs.

Not sure what you problem is with it most years (not this) St Kilda clash is just as good as the home.

Most clubs have got it worked out pretty good now anyway with brisbanes new bears inspired jumper, carltons new light kit and the return of the yellow peril at west coast.

That's fine, but as a competition nearly every home strip is predominantly black or navy it's nice to have some diversity in the league. Don't disagree with the clash jumper comment (should be designed with the idea that winning a flag in one is acceptable), I just think that with effectively a blank base to start with they can stick to mostly orange.
