Not sure if it’s still like this, but they used to charge by the letter for names on the back. My first season watching Everton, something like half the stadium had new Chinese signing Li no.12 on the back with it being so cheap. To my dads annoyance, I refused to have anything other than (Niclas) Alexandersson no.7, at 13 Letters and near 7x the price.

I went to get JVOH number on the back of my Celtic strip on my visit to Parkhead, my 13 year old eyes almost popped out when I saw how much extra per letter. Decided on Nakamura which wasn’t much cheaper

Awesome. Acts as a sash, but also a "flame" heating up to a blue hotter flame at the shoulder.

Tried this before myself, impossible to get in touch with anybody and no response from anywhere.
The logo definitely looks a lot less s**t with some pattern behind it.

To be honest i think at this point GC need to rethink their brand. Give themselves a classic-style logo, either make something totally unique in design or base their design off a european football team.

Be interesting to see the affect removing the red fill section of the logo and replacing with the sash/flame colouring continuation looks like for home and clash.
And red sleeves rather than yellow to clean it up. Unsure about collar

Love the adding of Rose gold as the pinstripe, I reckon Collingwood needs To add it to their Guernsey just like Port Adelaide uses Teal/Silver

I've never been big on that swooping magpie (anatomically weird), but you might be changing my mind with these. It's almost a V I guess, and when seen in that light it becomes a visually pleasing design element. I'm not completely sold yet, but I'm on the way!

You're absolutely right, as much as it is a cheeky knock on the classic PB design, I think it works a lot stronger as a yoke design. And it kind of makes more sense for a magpie to swoop down rather than up right?

I still vote that each year both Pies teams have a "Magpie showdown", whoever wins gets to wear their stripes the next showdown, and so on, so on. Collingwood could wear #2, and Port could wear their PB if they win, etc. Make it a unique rivalry
