Has anyone ever tried a Gold Coast Suns redesign with the use of the Tampa Bay Bucs style "Pewter" colour as the base, with the red and gold as secondaries?? Love the tampa alternate kit and think it could be a strong look for the suns.

Looks great, especially with the red shorts. I actually like your designs with no blue, i think if they use blue it clashes with the only other qld side in the lions.

A VERY rushed draft/attempt at using the idea of Carlton's 'clash sash' back in the 1900s, except with more navy to please the dinosaurs that support the club.

Yep. I like it without a number panel but it needs one so the numbers are clear. Or even the WCE tri-panel version with a solid colour from the sponsor up.
That's what I always envisioned if the Saints continued their design onto the back. Actually looks pretty decent!
I really love this idea.
I'd swap the panels on the back through to create the candy stripe effect, rather than having one wholly-red and one wholly-black side. I'd also have the number panel of the back not quite reaching all the way to the sides to maintain the tri-panel effect (like the 2004 heritage jumper).
You could alternate the number panels on the back too - black for home, maybe white for clash with white stripes on the side (again, like the 2004 heritage).
I thought the additional striping on the sides of the 2005 heritage was really good too, and were incorporated organically into the design, without being superfluous and rigid side panels.

this would be perfect if the orientation of the back matched the front. like this, they look red when kicking to right of screen and black when kicking to left of screen. it'd be much better to have the colour changing at the seams so you can always see red, black and white.
