I don't see why clubs wouldn't want this. Chance to change the retro guernsey every year and I'm sure they'd sell quite a few.

Yeah super big fan of this. I picked up an 05 Lions heritage guernsey which is fantastic and would love to see again

There's a conspiracy theory going around that the AFL scrapped Heritage Round because of the said agreement

Looks great. Reminds me of Stade de Reims.



Definitely prefer a more traditional crest style logo to an on-the-nose cartooney depiction of whatever the club’s moniker is. Just carries a lot more class.

This logo is decent but I can't see how it works on a footy jumper, it's too long vertically.

it doesn't have to be on the jumper. that's where a re-design comes in

Bit of a funny one, but the members gear which you can get for the Lions is a deeper gold, a dark navy and a deeper maroon.
This is what it would look like if we adopted those colours (on my 2022 template)

The Lions are renowned for stuffing up a perfectly good jumper. Been happening since about 2005. The jumper above looks sensational so that means only one thing. The AFL team will not adopt it.

It's close to the original colour palette that the Fitzroy Lions wore in their early days, but i love the red/blue/gold Roy colours

I just realized they seem to be going in order so it's more likely going to be like this.
I personally don't think they'd use the white number badge on the back though because it might cause a clash or something.

Looks great, that design would be cool for one of the new teams too. I could imagine it as a green and blue with a light grey C for a Canberra side would look awesome.
