Prediction Jumper numbers 2020

Now that our list is completed (subject to filling one rookie spot in the SSP), who gets what jumper? Kelly in 11 is a no-brainer but I’m struggling to find a player to move into the traditional whipping-boy number 7. Cameron and Rotham are two players that might look for an upgrade.

7. Cameron (jumper will lose whipping-boy status)
11. Kelly
36. Vacant (Mcinnes to keep it at Wafl level)
38. Johnson
39. Treacy (r)
40. Jamieson (traditional ruckman’s number, hopefully he can have more success than Brooksby, Olango, Sullivan, Spaanderman, MEmbley and Whitelaw  )
43. MON (r)
45. Pickett (SSP)

Good luck to Jamieson and Treacy.

Since Troy Wilson left #40 has been allocated to Michael Embley, Spaanderman, Sullivan, Hamp, Cale Morton, Main, Gorter, Olango and Brooksby. Of those nine players only Morton (3 games) made a senior appearance.

In club history the #43 has only appeared in 48 games - 39 with Hams and a combined 9 games by Gwilliam, Marshall and Beeck.

Was pumped to get hold of an authentic training singlet from a secret sauce, peered above the GPS holder and saw that glistening number 45 staring back at me...
