Yes but more recently, the numbers of ex captains and champion players have been retired for a year and/or given to promising youngsters. Giving our games record holder and most recent premiership captain’s jumper to a bit of a journeyman ruckman* is the opposite of that.
(*yes I know this is only his second club, but he kind of feels like a journeyman)
