It’s an overated horse, but that ride gave him no favours and this track is an absolute disgrace to be fair

Winx would struggle to make ground out wide

What do you expect him to do from barrier 10? Got the perfect trail for its racing pattern IMO and wasn't good enough.
Got it stuck three wide and had to settle it midfield on a track where no one has won today

Was always gonna happen from gate 10 to be fair to him

It got in 2 wide and then came out 3 wide with cover to make its run. Otherwise Mahamedeis takes it run and it would have been a poor ride. Unimpended run around the corner and up the whole straight. Just not good enough.

Yup the fact third horse came back to beat him in the straight showed just how disgusting he went.

Can feature in the Spring - in that country cup race again.

betting in the run would have been interesting
The leader and horse missing the start were equal favs at around 2.5. I traded the leader a bit in the run at around 1.6 > 1.5 but I think it was shorter after I greened up. Not sure what the 6 got out to but would have been long at the start

My entire weekend was summed up by the last at Kalgoorlie. Smarty was absolutely bolting, looked the winner, tried to get through gap and fell instead...

Let's never speak of this weekend again (and that awful Caulfield track).
