Well done Liam,

His whole community should be glowing with pride!!!

I spent some time in the outback last year and i learned a lot about Aboriginal culture.

Its funny but i feel a small sense of pride for him, I am not Aboriginal and I have never been to Yuendumu and i definitely don't support Melbourne!

yuwa junga,I used to play kurddju football back then, but wiapa getting old now warunga cant keep me body together anymore unga.Anyway we have a warrior who is going to make everyone proud,be it 1 game or 5 games, once he crosses that white line his classed a champion and theres no looking back, because his work began on dirt oval barefoot like everyone else and he had to train like anyone else. Now his took a big step in his life and people will now appreciated how yappa kurlanga keep this wonderful game we call aussie rules alive by showing off the unique skills they develop back on there own communities are willing to share with all of australia.Liam jurrah is not only representing warlpiri people nor all community people,he is representing the life aboriginal people can bring to the game and the wonderful experience of mixing culture adversities together.I am the happiest uncle around, not only what his achieved but what he can give the game in the next 10 years, and thats one hell of a JURRAHCAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANE.

Yep, it's good to have you and Japaljarri and napaljarri low on the board with us here Darren- hope you all stick around with us Demons here for a long time to come :D

I think if people can change there ways thru the code of football I beleive I can change my team from saints to demons, only on the fact that the belief of beleiving in some one who can not only better the game but interiact with the life of a struggling country and put himself smack bang in the middle (re;liam jurrah) I dont see any hassle of me changing my code of colours, the bottom line is we all need directions to better things in life.

I assure you the move, despite both saints(heaven) and demons(hell) mascots )and ladder positions , would not be a like are mascot hellish.

What a wonderful story, I've got a feeling that the longer Jurrah wears the red and the blue the MFC will grow and become a better club as well as his skill as a footballer. I can honestly see him becoming an icon similar to Michael Long in the future.

I'm not expecting anything great from him this year, give him a couple more full pre-seasons under his belt and we'll all see him at his best. I'm happy just to see him out there.

Vey exciting prospect his kicking is very accurate just what we need after years of Ben "I must of black mailed Neale " Holland and Juice

To be honest I can not recall being this excited about seeing one player running out in the Red and Blue. The excitment being generated from our beautiful red centre is running through me. I am so proud of our football club, the people of Yuendumu for allowing Jookaday to come down to represent you all. We can see how proud you are and we hope we can make him feel as welcome as we possibly can. I don't care if he plays more than 1 game for us (I hope he plays 300 for us!!) he is someone we can all be proud of for coming so far so quickly.

The Jurracane is coming out to play!!!!

If it is all possible guys from Yuendumu would you be able to take some photo's of you all watching the game on the big screen by the fires for us to see you all??!
