People who try so hard to be so positive about anything negative directed at Collingwood, we sure are negative when it comes to player injuries and thinking the worse.

Just felt his output was slowly dropping off in the midfield. I guess I kept comparing him to Cripps, Bont, Kelly, Cogs etc..... he just affects the game in a different way to the other bloke.
Pendles will go down as one of the best players to ever play the game. I don't think people will truly embrace how good he is/was until he actually retires and they sit back and look at all the AAs, etc.
There was a hot debate a couple of years ago about who'd be remembered as the better player; Pendles or Selwood.
If it's a race to the finish line, Pendles wins by a margin, regardless of flags won.

Moore just as mobile as supposed super mobile Blicsavs if not more. Certainly the most mobile Vic big man.
Yeah, was running out of defence, chasing, catching smaller blokes and tackling them plus leaping very high to spoil quite often. I noticed one of the commentators asked how good he could be.

If Pendles was at 11 he'd have 15 more possies, 10 more I50's, 5 more clearances and 3 goals.

I like Moore and Howe's chances against Lynch and Jack going on that game................... zero pressure in it though. Will probably look completely different.
Moore seems to have Jack's measure. He towelled him up during round 2 last year but was missing for the return match. In 2018 was doing well until we ran out of defenders with Howe suffering concussion and Shaz doing his knee. Reckon his height and athleticism bothers Jack. Roughie does well on Lynch.
Hawkins looked treacle slow in that game, complete opposite of anyone of Moore, Howe, Blicsavs, Jack, Jezza, even Lynch.
The speed of that game we'll unlikely see in premiership points or finals games. Was bruise free, rare skill error stuff .................... zero pressure will lend itself to that and for that reason was entertaining to watch.
Pressure is still king in this league when the real stuff starts, we'll be there abouts.

Pendles top 5 in Collingwoods history, for sure.
They are for fifteen year old males, besotted with football and will read anything footy related. Grown men don’t care what the media writes up.
