barrie robran 3 magareys in about 150 games until a ruined knee, went on to play 200 games- could have easily won another two or three magareys:thumbsu:

so you are more or less stating robran is the best croweater of al time ,you wouldn't happen to be jonathon would you

how can you compare the sanfl to the afl ..take your rose coloured glasses off u egg fair dinkum no wonder your all feral's over there with silly comment's like this

merely stating my opinion, if you cant handle that methinks your a little precious;) and you obviously think no good players came out of the sanfl...you really are a spud of the highest order:D

In the 1989 GF he kicked 9 goals from 130+ team points. Does the fact that Geelong went inside 50 directly to GA more than 25 times mean that he failed to win the game for them as was clearly the game plan? Yet he was judged BOG.

Yikes.

hey you forgot luke Hodge. to me he leaves buddy for dead. Hodge is always on and alwyas doing something smart. he is never off. He would have fitted in easily with the greats of the 80s

ha isn;t it great..my first post was about the mighty flying Hawks

Off to a terrible start.

Hodge is never off? Was smashed by a tag several times last season alone. God, we have another one.

Firstly, it's nice that 3 NMFC players were nominated. I reckon I watched most of Carey's, Blight's and Greig's matches live (excluding Carey's interstate games).

I can honestly say that Blight is the best player I've ever seen. Closely followed by Carey, Matthews and Hird (take your pick on the order). The others not far behind either.
