Just wondering... (Another Jimmy thread)

Given that all the attention has been on Jimmy Bartel the last week or so, has anybody spared a thought for Steve Johnson? Correct me if i'm wrong, and I probably am, but he hasn't re-signed has he?

If Steve Johnson hasn't, I'd probably be inclined to think that he's just as, if not more important to our cause than that of the Jimmy!

I mean, I love having Jimmy in our side, but Steve Johnson just seems to spark our forward line. Whenever he's playing fully fit we seem to be more organised in our forward structure than without him.... he can just make something out of nothing!

Don't get me wrong, Jimmy is a player of class that does not come often, and he's incredibly young with a lot of improving to do (23). But I seriously believe that Steve Johnson deserves a mention and I'd probably rather have Johnson here than Jimmy if i got to that choice.

Bear in mind this is just my opinion!

Any ideas?

And yeah, I've always been a huge fan of Jonnos... he is fantastic on the boundary line... on the run.. on his butt!!

He HAS to fire tomorrow (today now)... or who knows where we're gonna get the goals from... Cant put too much pressure on young Ablett!

As I said, I wasn't 100% sure whether or not Johnno had signed up, but if he has, let's just say I'd be one happy cats fan let me tell you!

If he has re-signed, I am more than happy to wear the egg on my face!

steve johnson is not signed up yet but i wouldn't worry to much as a mate of mine is freinds with Johno and he has said to him he has no interest in going anywhere else, just leaving till the finals are over jsut so there no diatractions or anything, will be offered around $550,000 for 2 yrs which is about right for him at the moment consdiering he has yet to do a pre season and has had injuries, would get more on the open market but he won't be leaving thats for sure.
