Is Justin Longmuir wasted up forward? After 5 games, he hasn’t exactly set the world on fire has he? Or is it a case where Croad and Longmuir are having trouble communicating with each other? I would structure our forward line with Farmer one out in the goal square. He got to be Freos hardest man to match up on.

He is simply too lightly built to be a ruckman at the moment.
Justin is a strong mark and extremely nimble plus he is good off the ground.
My opinion is that he is best suited in the forward line

I don't reckon he's being wasted up forward because if you look at the games he's played in

Round 1 v West Coast- rucked all day didn't kick a goal

Round 2 v St kilda- played forward and kicked 2.5, many missed opportunities.

Round 3 v Hawthorn- played forward kicked 3 goals, team played like crap bad delivery into the forward line.

Round 4 v Richmond- played forward kicked 3.3, again many missed opportunities.

Round 5 v Geelong- Whole team didn't rock up to play.

much better as a foward, not as good in the ruck as up foward.
needs to play closer to goal struggles around 50

Needs to be stationed, leading out of the goalsquare, with the goal hungry dwarf ofr the wiz at his feet.

Definately 100% his best position.

Scarily enough, I tend to agree. He is way better as a forward, where his main assets- speed and good hands- are more useful. However, full forwards do tend to have to be able to kick straight, something which Justin tends to do with dubious regularity

Last year he kicked 28.3 - so all the issues now I personally think are mental.

Maybe Troy Wilson can educate him, being the footballing philospher he clearly is. ;)

Troy Wilson. Footballer, Pornstar, Hard man, Poet, Philosopher. He'll crack your head, kick a goal, then make love to you, and write a poem about it all.

Oddly enough, Willow seems to have his kicking well and truly sorted this year. Maybe Longmuir *should* be taking notes.

I have nothing to say, but felt the need to quote that again, some very funny stuff.

Maybe the fact his head is a vacuum, leads to no intrusion from thoughts whilst kicking, and ths no pressure?

Ahhh idiots, where would we all be without them. (there wouldnt be a moderator on this board, for one ... sorry Sabre, had to)
