Watched this fella play for Tyabb Seniors in 2005 and was impressed. Never thought he would be drafted but have been disappointed to see him play a few games in the Casey seconds. What does his future hold at St.Kilda?

Not sure how it works with the Bulldogs but Casey determine positions for the firsts. Now say St Kilda wants player x to play CHF in the VFA and this doesn't work with Casey 1sts they play in the magoo's. It is not unusual to see good st kilda players in Casey 2's

Fair enough. So now I am clearer on why he played two's, where is he at? What lies ahead? Will they keep him or have they had enough of a look?

Don't get me wrong, he is a talent. But I haven't seen him play at all this year and alot goes into the decision making of a senior AFL list.

he did play against hawthorn in that "ugly" game earlyer in the year, showed a bit.
often, he kick goals in the VFL, but you do have to perform for about a month consistently to get a look in. especially now as we have few injuries at the moment.
dito benno, alot does go into decision making of an AFL list.

I'll guarantee you he'll be the replacement for Aaron Hamill when he has developed enough. A project player who has enough goal sense and natural ability to become a fixture in the side in coming years. He'll be the next Nathan Brown (the Richmond one).

He's not good enough.

I know it was in monsoonal rain, but who remembers that preseason game against Brisbane this year when he missed from the goal square?

You're writing off a kid because he missed a shot at goal under ridiculous weather conditions in a pre season game? Have you ever seen him play with Casey?

I personally rate him highly and am amazed that he hasn't been given a go in the seniors. He played well in his one game against Hawthorn, taking some strong grabs and using the footy very well. Unfortunately he missed a shot at goal with his first kick, but you could see that he was extremely nervous and just didn't come to grips with the situation. After that he settled down and played a good game.

Should definitely be retained and I could see him doing a similar role in 2008 to what Aaron Edwards has done for the Kangas this year.

He has the skills, smarts, pace and size to make it. He has had discipline problems previously and is paying for it now. Hopefully Lyon gives him a second chance and doesn't let his talent go to waste.
