JYD was part of the coaching pannel to get rid of Sav from Collingwood. (I think - in his first year)

Is this going to be an issue with either Dean or Sav ?

Surely Sav has got to be part of Deans plans for the Roos ?!?

well he wasn't traded so you'd assume so.....saying that though sav is expendible...although it would be better if he played for us at ff

Sav should not even be talked about.

He is our leading goalkicker and FF, and a very hard worker.

It would be goalkicking suicide to lose he and Pickett.

Got to agree NorthBhoy - Sav is our leading goalkicker - it is only a change in direction not Year Zero!!!

Sav will stay for at least another year, he has a year to run on his contract and it extremely important to us

I think he's got another 2 years to go. He held out signing last year because he wanted more security than the 2 year deal he was being offered.

Not only is he crucial for the position he plays as our only experienced key forward, but he is also very important in terms of leadership. We're a bloody young list now and things are delicately poised meaning our leaders are more important than ever.

'Ladles' will be off to a very bad start if he delists Sav......or Mick.

Michele

He wouldn't delist Sav because he still has a year (or 2 isn't it) to go on his contract and we would have to pay it out which isn't so nice (plus he has obviously improved since his ime at collingwood

Mick would not be delisted - he would most likely be told he won't have a position in the squad anymore (youth policy etc) and then will announce his retirement.

Maybe play a year in the magoos but I'd hate for him to do it. Better to end in the seniors as a champ

Ausgard,

You are not of the understanding that contracts are binding on both parties? ;) ;) ;)

Afterall, this is football - new age style. :(

Ahhhh - I see now where I have gone wrong :)

I think we we see where Rocca stands during the preseason if he is "rested" and Petrie, Hale and Diggers rotate through CHF and FF

What would everyone think if Morrell Kicks 2 from CHF while Hale kicks 3 and Petrie 4 both operating out of the square. Perhaps Rocca would not be seen as such a required player

( or they could kick 2 goals between them and we lose by 10 goals )

Bloody hell this is going to be a long wait over the pre season
