You would think whatever they get for Saad would be going straight up to GWS

What Mass Exodus........this kid is a gun.....
No, that's not how Dodo works. Saad is leaving so worth at least pick 7, Caldwell is coming so worth about a late 3rd/early 4th5 years at $500k I've seen

The Dodo show is going to be a scream if your club isn't caught up in it, will make for great viewing over the next month
Pick 11Ok Dodo time to put your money where your mouth is.
Dodo keeps telling everyone the value of Essendon players:
Daniher- worth more than two top 10 picks
Saad - worth pick 7 because Carlton offered $600k over 4 years for a 26 year old hbf’r
On Dodo’s ratings this makes Caldwell, 20 year old onballer (top 10 selection) on a mega-5 year deal worth at least two first rounders (early and late) - pick 6 & a pick 16/17/18.
Can’t have it both ways...
That could work out massively in Essendons favour on the back end if thats the offer

It could. It could also backfire big time if after a few years he turns into a typical Essendon plodder.
positive vibes aside, fills a midfield need.Wow, great result for the young fella.
Can’t begrudge him favouring the Essendon with a $2.5 million deal - will set him up for life.
Good get for the Bombers, need to be aggressive and create some positive vibes
He will....deals work both ways....it what's best for the club ....cant blame him for trying...what would your club ask if you lost a quality player....but heay the opposition is happy to receive for not much too...cant have it both waysOk Dodo time to put your money where your mouth is.

Daddy Dodoro has done it again
He will have to now. He has to be realistic. He needs deals done. Trades in the pocket. Can’t play his usual grandstanding games this year. Has to get deals done or the membership will rightfully go ape droppings. He will....deals work both ways....it what's best for the club ....cant blame him for trying...what would your club ask if you lost a quality player....but heay the opposition is happy to receive for not much too...cant have it both ways
You're paying a 5 game player 500K over 5 years, whilst reportedly letting your key forward go for Pick 19/20...after knocking back - at the very least - Pick 9, and whatever else you would have got (conflicting reports so not gonna get into if there was a Future 1st or not).
This is while an elite player in his prime in Saad leaves, after reportedly paying him less than the figure you're offering Caldwell - before the last ditch contract you offered him
Oh yeah, he's doing great...
P.S. Caldwell is 183 CM, so literally the exact same type as Shiel, Dev Smith, Merrett, Parish, McGrath. Just getting a player for the sake of getting a player IMO
Heard GWS would need to add a 2nd round pick to get it across the lineDodoros first offer in. Straight swap for Shaun McKernan.PLAYERCARDSTART27Shaun Mckernan
