I'll admit, back in the day I used to berate Simmo, but he has been a solid pillar in the team for a number of years since.

Courageous, defiant, humble and inspiring. All of the qualities you want in a leader and everything you get from Simmo every week.

Well done on 250 games and hopefully the boys make it 4 in a row.

Just turned 32 and still going strong. Will remember him mostly for all those courageous efforts and marks. Hope he can keep going and get to 300 he's been relatively injury free and he's still playing at a very high level.

The guy has turned into an absolute legend for the club and if it hadn't been for that lowlife scum Wellingham, he would have smashed the record for the most number of games uninjured.

OP states "Congratulations on 250 Courageous games". The word Courageous has been thrown around a lot this week, and whilst its an accurate depiction of Simmo I feel it really sells him short.

Simmo has been extremely durable and reliable, but those terms probably sell him short. Skilled and very smart but that alone doesnt do him justice.

Simmo is Carlton. We just love the bloke. I just love the bloke!. Hopefully that doesnt sell him short.
