North Melbourne will not engage with Kane Cornes on any of his media platforms across TV, radio and digital.

This was easily way too funny to not have its own thread, but I suppose it also raises a good question as to whether or not it is right or wrong for clubs to have the freedom to place media bans on journalists of their choice.

And to clarify my personal stance, I think Kornes is a hypocritical and biased flog who talks out of his arse, but Norfs reaction here is comical to say the least. Lots of primary schoolyard energy about that club.

I think this is the thing.

He used to have quite interesting and relevant 'serious' opinions, with the occasional "Hot Take" thrown in here and there. But because he's now utterly inescapable, he seems to feel the need to relentlessly pump out controversial and polarising content every day.

Korn is just a hypocrite

Very quick to sink the boots in on other players (Reid; Walsh etc) and highlight their shortcomings, whilst giving JHF a leave pass (FWIW I think JHF will be a great player).

Also has been very very reluctant to criticise Kern because Kern saved his career - whilst going off at Beveridge; Lyon; Goodwin etc

I was extremely embarrassed watching Cornes ranting about Simpkins and Sheezel. I'd have been embarrassed if it was a primary school kid doing it but at least you could imagine that they didn't know better. Funny that it was in relation to his love child Horne - Francis.
