I'm not the one who made the comparison and "easily" doesn't need to mean there's a massive gap, it merely means I don't have to think about it, which, as it currently stands, I don't. Although I did say he's "Miles ahead" so thats on me.

My comment was more the idea that Adelaide is anything but a boring shard-infected, swamp. I do enjoy my days at Magic Mountain though.

North Adelaide is actually pretty good too, I remember going out for dinner and a drunk Derryn Hinch was there, blew my mind.

If you want to pick up, Adelaide wins. Never disappointed. Chicks, whilst not as attractive are actually good value.

Made a point of watching last night as was home and had nothing better to do. Watched first quarter, noticed the Sheez only got a couple of touches. Was bored by quarter time, turned down volume and had it on in the back ground, only glancing up every now and then. Christ footy is horrible and so is the commentary. The only bloke who looked decent was Zach Merrett. Everybody else looked like Parklands scrubbers. Saw that North had come back and watched the last 10 minutes of players continually butchering the ball. Just shit football. Looked at stats and the Sheez seemed to get a fair bit of it, but from what I saw largely ineffectual, like virtually every other player on the field. AFL football sucks. Took me a while to get to this point, I used to love the game.

Thought the same. By far the best actual footballer out there last night.

Of course it always helps having the commentators tell you how amazing it is every 30 seconds. Clowns.

I think this is the thing.

He used to have quite interesting and relevant 'serious' opinions, with the occasional "Hot Take" thrown in here and there. But because he's now utterly inescapable, he seems to feel the need to relentlessly pump out controversial and polarising content every day.

I think if you watch the game, review stats and jump on bigfooty after you still love the game.

Skills were average from both teams, but they are bottom ranked teams. Thought the effort was good and last quarter was entertaining.

He was on bloody good money playing for Port but walked out on them halfway through the season once he got to 300 games. To follow his dream of being a Fireman. Then walked out on them. He wasn't on big coin at the end of his career he would've been shipped off had the previous administration had it's way, I didn't rate him as a player tbh a lot of crabbing and cheap stats.

Kane is right. Harry should be tearing the game up by now but has been held back by Clarko and Norths development team.

If the 5 minute fireman did more than 5 minutes of research as a footy journo, he would know Sheezel had plenty of CBAs and midfield minutes in the first 6 games.

The recent role change is a by-product of Clarko dropping 4 defenders/defensive winger to the 2s in the 85-200 game range and Fisher doing his hamstring. Ironically, 3 of these players were the experienced players the AFL told us we had to trade for to fix everything.

So, big deal. Clarko's experienced defenders failed and gave up cricket scores, so he turns to a 52 gamer.

Hardly world news that score involvements and contested possessions drop when Sheezel moves back.

Hardwick had Dustin Martin running around like a back half chip scab 7 years into his coaching career, somehow got another contract and everything changed the following season.

So, yes, Kane is right that Sheezel should be a front half player but it took Hardwick 8 years to do that with Dusty.

I tune in only when the ball is bounced, and maybe listen to the coaches post-game pressers and that's about it (give or take).

The oversaturation of AFL media, pundits, hangers-on and wannabe analysts has gotten ridiculous.

What happens on the field is still generally a pretty strong product.

I haven't listened to one of those in at least five years. I don't watch any of the "football shows" outside of the actual matches. I can't tell you how much better it is.

Actually liked a fair bit of Kane's stuff on SEN that last few years. I don't watch the 7 or 9 shows. But yeah this year he's stretched himself too thin and is transferring the click bait vibes to all forums.
