I actually don't care that he's become the Skip Bayless of the AFL. My problem is that he's hired by the AFL media department (and channel 7) as an "expert" when his analysis is hardly ever objective and almost always personal (like his feud and obsession with Bevo), and vindictive. Imagine if the NBA hired Skip Bayless to constantly belittle and degrade it's up n coming young stars (as well as coaches). There would be an uproar, and rightly so. You're basically undermining your own product.

Compare that with actual expert analyst's on fox like Bucks, Lyon, King, Lewis, Montagna etc and it's night and day. They're objective and for the most part don't let any personal beefs compromise their analysis.

Cornes stood on the best player, often under the armpit of the ruck.

He probably doesn't understand that if was easy to play inside midfield and then flick a switch to create and perform at Bailey Dale or Whitfield level in a different role, everyone would do it.

That said, Sheezel still has more contested ball than inside bulls like Viney, Warner, Reid and more than Rozee. And when in the midfield, Sheezel would not even be close to the # 1 banana.

That's not an anomaly either, Rozee averages 4.6 score involvements a game which is exactly the same as Sheezel. The only difference is Sheezel averages more possessions at 30 per game to Rozee's 28.2 per game. Sheezel also averages more contested, less turnovers and less clangers with a better disposal efficiency %75 vs %69.

So he get's more of the ball himself, is more efficient and turns it over less. He's also rated higher too. But of course Kane will tear down a 20 yr old kid in just his 3rd year instead of a experienced captain of a team playing the same position.

And before Kane-o says that Sheezel deserves the ridicule because he was a high draft pick, Rozee was also a top 5 pick so that excuse doesn't fly either.
