Pearce has plenty to offer given the right environment. Dont write off anyone what has talent and is in the PAP system.
I think that Big Moose is driving the Pearce bandwagon Roswell.

Ive seen worse than Kane Cornes.
Apart from needing another genuine KP Defender, what were actually missing is a essential tagger. Kane Cornes is in the top three players in the AFL for negating his opponent. But unlike other taggers he gets a fair bit of the ball as well. Also his not fazed with having to go in defence and play from there. This is also another reason why his such a good tagger and negater.
I know Bateman has played that role well to good effect, but I get the feeling his not as good as he used to be. Lewis is the other, but it seems he only gets his role tagging in the foward line. Of course we have Shiels and depending on development it's hard to say how good he will be in that role.
I noticed that Kane was dropped this week. Don't know why, he has been good again this year. Maybe Primus wants to make statement, or maybe he wants to start blooding youngster at Port. If the latter is the case then maybe they would be happy for a trade, we give them draft picks and some players and make the trade. He would no doubt be in our 22 and a certain starter each week. Would improve our side immensely. I'm probably just wishful thinking but considering we have poached a few players from Port could Kane be the last piece of the puzzle? Of course he would but he is the son of Graham Cornes and that's probably the only reason why we wouldn't get him to leave Adelaide.

OK we'll take him for the price of a bag of chips & port can pay out his contractIs a bag of chips cheap enough? If so, he's yours.
Kane Cornes to the hawks? Nah
Firstly I doubt he would come and secondly the game is past him and he wouldn't be in our best 22

Why would we need Cornes at Hawthorn? Do we need someone to sell Football Records outside the MCG?
Wrong - he is a 2 x AAThe only person who ever thought Kane was a champion is Choco.
He is the last player I'd want at our club. On Saturday, when Butcher kicked his first goal, every Port player bar one run up and congratulated him. That player was.........guess who?
Due to family reasons "his daughters health" i really doubt he'll leave his home state to continue his career, he's knocked back invitations to leadership groups and his primary focus is his family rather then extra commitment to football
No chance he'll move interstate to continue his career
Lucy Cornes said:In Australia today 6 babies were born with heart disease.
On the 6th September 2006, my eldest son Eddy was one of them. In late 2011, Eddy is scheduled to have life saving correctional open-heart surgery.
Inspired by his tenacity and his courageous story, I will run every step of the Adelaide Marathon for Eddy and I hope others will be inspired to support the wonderful work of HeartKids SA.
Being an ambassador for HeartKids SA has given me an insight into the lives of the many South Australian families affected by Childhood Heart Disease (CHD). For some it means having a child live with CHD, for others it means loosing a child to CHD.
It’s made me want to make a difference & together we can!
My goal is to raise $10,000 plus for HeartKids SA. Your donation will help HeartKids SA continue their brilliant work supporting families, raising awareness and finding answers through research.
Your generosity will help us move a step closer to a life unaffected by Childhood Heart Disease.
You can follow my eight week lead up to the marathon, our fundraising progress and learn more about HeartKids SA on this page.

I’m running this marathon out of love for Eddy,
but it is your contribution that will make the real
difference.

yet when Surj and Changa went head long into each other on the outer wing... Kane ran 100m to urge Surj on and rub him on the head. As Clarko said... "swings and roundabouts"... everyone can find things they can interpret as positive and negative.
There is no chance this Cornes will be a player at the HFC. We dont need him. Adds nothing. But his record does speak for itself.
