yup... was pretty good as well... had some nice moves and throws to get pins.
Good for you I've never known a greco roman wrestler, looks an interesting sport.
Personally I prefer golf, I like to try to keep as far away from balls as possible.

I think that the reason why we have a high number of rookies on our list is because some of our more inspired draft choices over the years spent more time injured than on the field and so we had to keep promoting rookies to cover them. And in the end... some of the rookies turned out better than the guys they were covering and so we promoted them.Yeah, my apologies, I knew it was 9 but typed a third instead of a quarter. Too late to blame auto-correct?
Probably a shit excuse anyway as I'm using a PC>
Funny... I thought that the games against the dogs and the wet toasters had just as much intensity as the game last night, if not more... but obviously I'm wrong.
Look... you have your views. I have mine. If is still on the list next year and goes on and has a ripper... then it's a win.
If he doesnt make it and the club trades him to another club... I will be following him and seeing how he goes. And if he ends up being a star and all you guys who wanted him gone start bitching and moaning about how we should have kept him. I will go looking through all these 'I hate Kane Lucas, he's useless' posts and pull out choice ones for each poster.
Sound like a plan?
Greco roman wrestling is one of the most intensely strength demanding sport you can get. It's a lot of struggle to get into a position of authority and then there is a massive explosion of strength to throw and pin someone. If you cant get it right, and your attack gets reversed, you could end up pinned yourself.Good for you I've never known a greco roman wrestler, looks an interesting sport.

So you are saying that there was no pressure or intensity at all in the dogs and west coke games?Yes. You are quite wrong in that assessment.
Yep. Cool. Good luck to him, he can join the rest of Carlton's rejects at Richmond. He'd probably win their B&F too.

Well thats a relief... we must have romped those wins in then.

nah... you've built that by yourself. Are you seriously trying to build a strawman argument with me?
lamb roast with mint and spices? mmmmSounds very oily.
Greek roast is the king............

3 injured players, down to 1 player on the bench holding off a surging Footscray to win the game. That was an intense game. The entire team was shattered by the end of the game because they had ran themselves into the ground.
4 goals down with 10 to play in the match against the west coasters. We managed to kick the next 5 goals and repel wave after wave of Eagle attacks. And when your boy Buckley kicked the goal to level the game... who was it who took the tap, weaved through the congestion and pinpointed Dylan with a handball that found him in space to kick the goal? Now that was an intense match. It fell off a bit in the third for us as the Eagles dominated, but in the end, we rode it home. Even that acknowledged Carlton hater, Eddie Everywhere, exploded when Menz kicked the last goal for us to put us in front.
Tell me those two weeks didnt get you all excited that we could be on the verge of a resurgence up the ladder? If you say no... I call bullshit.
Dale Thomas says hi.I never said that the WC and WB games were without intensity, I said Collingwood had the intensity cranked to 11. It was closer to finals level intensity. You're a fool if you think the Eagles and Bulldogs had the same level.
Once Collingwood decided to put the foot down our blokes looked lost, they were hesitant to lay tackles, and whenever they got possession they mostly panicked. And Lucas was the worst of the bunch. He regressed into the foetal position and started rocking back and forth. There was a very clear expression on his face and that expression said "What the hell am I doing here?".
It could also be the look of "Where the **** are my team mates to help me out"... anyone can get lost in those situations and the looks on their faces would be remarkably similar.I never said that the WC and WB games were without intensity, I said Collingwood had the intensity cranked to 11. WWE is not wrestlingI've seen plenty of WWE to know that any grappling can be broken.
He was kidding... at least I think that he was kidding...WWE is not wrestling

As a golfer of 35 years experience I can honestly say I have never seen anyone kiss their ball when they take it out of the hole !!Yeah sure, I've seen you golfers ... don't take the high moral ground. Do you smack balls with a big stick? Do you sometimes caress those balls with that same stick? Do you have little dimples on your balls? Do you put your balls in a hole? Do you putt from the rough? Do your friends have their balls in play at the same time as you, so you need to mark yours to avoid confusion? Do you kiss your balls when you take it out of the hole?

Nope, never been in a group with a hole in one. Although one of the regular group did get a HIO recently at another course, have not heard the end of it - likes to mention every round we playNever played with anyone that's had a hole in one?
So annoying !!!
I've never putted from the rough but admit to all the others along with a bit of ball abuse.
But I stress that it is always with my own ball.
