Claremont: Twelve flags, only five before the Eagles
South Freo: Thirteen flags, ten before the Eagles

I'm happy with my WAFL club, thanks!
Oh please! I'm happy for you to point me at a premiership where we benefited from the existence of the Eagles or the Dockers if that's what you're implying. 8 flags in my lifetime. How about you?

Benefitted? Nah, but the worth of a pre-AFL flag is way more than post-87. Come on. The league's were gulfs apart and served completely different purposes. You private schoolers and your self-entitlement.

A sense of self-entitlement? Too funny. I'm not a Hawk / Bomber / Blue dude.

A WAFL flag is a WAFL flag. Unless it is a WANFL flag of course. Or a WASFL flag. Or a Westar Rules flag. The fact remains that the same 8 clubs have contested for that flag up until the entry of Peel, and Sowfs had just as much chance to win it as the mighty 'monts. Hard luck. :p

Yeah, and we still have more flags than you anyway.

What la-la land do you live in?

How about you don't criticise politicans. 'Coz you're not!

Don't complain about poor service or bad food, 'coz you're not a chef nor a waiter.

And we should banish all review and criticism forever... that is, unless you're better than someone at something.

He hasn't even played a game yet at AFL level, not sure how your reasoning works. If he plays and he's shit then fair enough, but to have a "right" to go for him before he's even laced up at the top level is stupid unwarranted and proves your analogy to be a pile of crap.

Promoted to the senior list, but if Salter comes back is he ineligible to play? injury update has Salter listed as a round 2 return?

I read somewhere that Salter is 6-8 weeks away at best. I don't think he'd be on the LTI if due back in R2 but don't know much about his situation

And Salter is 6 weeks away so if he pays well he will stay in the team. Robbie Gray back soon after getting fitness in the SANFL so he will have to be at his best ASAP.

Runs hard, I really want him to succeed.

Wasn't able to catch his game over the weekend - how did he go? I think he was the sub and had 7 disposals? Assuming he came on late?

Also, for any Port fans, given the big win on the weekend - is there little chance of that Colquhoun getting a game this weekend coming?

Mitchell was subbed on a 3/4 time replacing Monfries.

He ran hard, which everyone knows is his forte, plus his disposal, mainly by hand, was okay, one lace out pass was especially good, otherwise he went to a contest a bit.

He did enough to get a chance at a full game I reckon

Sammy Colquhoun had a 25 disposal game in Centrals loss to Westies.

He's coming on nicely, but wont get an AFL game for a while yet.

Cheers for the info Asgardian. I may need to find a rookie defender then.

Yeah Monfries had a good game, how come he was subbed off? Is he coming back from injury or something?

For a defender maybe you could look at a couple of the new boys at Port, Lewis Stevenson & Campbell Heath?

Monfries had a hamstring over the pre-season, coming off a 3/4 time was just to keep him on ice a bit ready for next week, we had the game well & truly won.

Cheers - may look at both Heath and Stevenson. Already have Pittard (seems like a whole bunch of decent young defender options over at Port!).

Ah yeah, that makes sense, no need to risk him. Great win by your mob!
