Hell no; I reckon I could have performed in that Geelong squad, if he looked bad for them he'd be atrocious for us.

When he wasn't in the Geelong team I thought he might've been somone to take in the draft.

Then I saw him play... :thumbsd:

would be a bad pick up for you blokes not much talent there

Indeed. The guy's crap. I've never heard any of my numerous GFC supporting acquaintances say anything good about him, let alone ever seen him play decent footy. Don't touch him with a barge pole, please!

Seriously though, I'm ashamed to say I remember that before the draft in 2003 I remember hoping we'd go for Sylvia and Tenace. Urgh.

Mind you, end result, we still have Sylvia. :thumbsu: And pick 11, which means we definitely won in the end.

Keithy you went a bit strong their and got a wack back, but Docker the point remains that if Kenace isn't best 22 at Geelong how is he going to be part of a premiership winning team for us.

He'd probably play around 10 games but if he hasn't improved in a strong Geelong culture then I can't see him being a consistent best 22 player. Therefore I see him taking away games from the midfield from Scully, Trengove, Grimes, Morton, Blease etc.

Agreed...

If you cant kick you cant play.

I agree with that. I was impressed with Buckley and was surprised you dropped him. What is the problem...injury?

I think so.

Certainly an unfortunate combination of circumstances it would seem; Buckley's contract was up, he'd shown a bit in 2008 but had been injured this season and when he came back didnt really light up the VFL either, there was also some question marks over his decision making and disposal which he may have failed to answer in training and the VFL. We're also likely to draft the best two young midfielders in the country, which probably meant that he'd be pushed further down the midfield pecking order.

I wont be surprised if someone picks him up in the PSD.

A former pick7 who only averages 16 midfield possies a game, particularly in a Geelong side, and only gets 10 games a year if he's lucky, has failed to deliver big time. He's had six seasons, I'd be surprised if there was any interest. He's quick, that's about it.
